Medical Radiation Sciences Schedule
Term 1:
Physics 1L03
Math 1A03
Psych 1X03
Kinesiol 1Y03
Medradsc 1A03

Term 2:
Biology 1A03
Medradsc 1B03
Medradsc 1C03
Medradsc 1D03
Kinesiol 1YY3

Is it okay, are the terms balanced?

I took Math 1A03 but what's the difference between 1A03 and 1LS3? I only choose one right?

I can change my courses in the next 7 days right?

I'm taking Math 1LS3, you only need 1 math so it comes down to preference. 1LS3 is slightly easier.
It was discussed here: http://www.macinsiders.com/showthrea...1.html?t=44401

Yes you have 7 days to change courses around. You will have an opportunity to change it again in August once Solar/Mugsi reopens.

I never took physics 1L03, but i took everything else you listed there. Maybe 1L03 will help you for medrad 1c03 because it's also a physics class, but i'm not sure. I took 1ls3 for math, and it's much easier than math 1a03. good luck!

basically as a medrad student you'll take math 1ls3 and have it second term and then move your bio to first
or you take math 1a03 first term and then bio second like you already have

I switched 1A03 with 1LS3 because it's supposed to be easier and math isn't my best subject so the easier it is the better.

So now my schedule is:

Term 1
Physics 1L03
Math 1LS3
Psych 1X03
Kinesiol 1Y03
Medradsc 1A03

Term 2 is the same

Hopefully there won't be any conflicts.

^ I'm in medradsci as well and im actually taking calc in second term because there is going to be a conflict. the only available times for lectures for calc 1LS3 is 9:30 - 10:20 OR 8:30-9:20. this will conflict with medradsc 1a03 which is at 8:30-9:20 and kin 1y03 at 9:30-10:20. All of which are on the same days, just a heads up! : )

I'm taking Math 1LS3 as well, but your only option would be to take it in Term 2. Like noted above, I wasn't aware of this either until I checked the Master Timetable.

Remember, Mugsi/Solar doesn't warn you about conflicting time slots for courses, so it's better to change it soon rather than after the sectioning period as you may have trouble getting into the desired course.

Hello : )

I am a medrad student as well, going into second year this september.
from what i know, i think it is better for you to take bio 1a03 during term 1 since a lot of the evaluations ended up being on the same day as med rad courses which makes it really hard to study for two midterms around the same time period.

good luck : )

1st term:
MedRad 1A03
Bio 1A03
Kine. 1Y03
Math 1A03
Hth Sci 1G03

2nd term:
MedRad 1B03
MedRad 1C03
MedRad 1D03
Kine. 1YY3
Hlth Age 1AA3

The time slots are pretty tight for my first term. It's either going to be a pretty good schedule or a terrible one with lots of gaps.
I was going to take psych 1X03, but then I think it's mostly web modules, and I'm not too sure how great that will be.

I'd suggest putting Bio in the fall term to balance it out as much as possible. Patho (1B03) can be pretty heavy (apparently MedRad physics is too).

How do my terms look for 1st year MedRadSci?

Term 1:
• Biology 1A03
• Kin 1Y03
• MedRadSc 1A03
• Econ 1B03 (Evening 7pm-10pm, once a week)
• Econ 1BB3

Term 2:
• Math 1LS3
• Kin 1YY3
• MedRadSc 1B03
• MedRadSc 1C03
• MedRadSc 1D03

Any advice/comments would be greatly appreciated.

your term 2 schedule looks pretty good! but for term 1, i would suggest choosing only one econ course as many of the econ midterms fall on the same day. from what i know, many people who took two econ courses in 1 term had all the midterms on the same day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. im not too sure what it might be like this upcoming year but that is what happened last year!

good luck! : )

You're pretty much set for the 2nd term (exactly the same as mine last year, lol).

I also had both of my electives in Term 1 (PSYCH 1X03 and CHEM 1A03). Don't know much about ECON since I never took them but I've heard that the midterms may fall on the same day and the tests/midterms are on saturdays (don't quote me here, as I haven't taken any of these courses myself).
