Advice on some bio profs
Hi guys,
Ive never had a course with Dr. Dej before. Ive read that shes clear in explanations, but how easy is it to get a 12 in her courses? I would like to ask the same about Dr. Nurse. Thanks!

Dr. Dej is simply amazing. Her lectures are easy to follow, and yeah it IS easy to get a 12 provided you put in the time. Her tests are straight forward so long as you know the material. There are no surprises and she usually puts up practice questions which end up being on the test. Hope that helps

agree with allie on dr. dej. also, i head that her finals aren't cumulative. i'm not sure if this is true for all her courses, but it's been the case for at least one or two of her courses that my friends took.
as for dr. nurse, i didn't hear great things from him, lol. one thing i remember my housemate telling me was that he had a pretty thick accent that's kind of difficult to understand, and that his teaching style didn't compensate for it.

Dr. Nurse is really great. He used a projector rather than slides for the class and you need to copy the notes in class (he'll post the slides after).
I had him for 3P03 and all of his tests were short answer/essay and 2-3 questions that were true & false. Make sure you know the function of drugs because he's very interested in them. His "accent" wasn't really an issue.
His tests may require some extra thinking, but I found everything straight forward. I ended up doing very well, others did not.
Dr. Dej is awesome as always.

I don't remember Nurse having an accent. He talks pretty slow though, so his lectures are really boring.

I wonder why you never had him... lol jk jk
He might have had an accent, but his boring slow talk was definitively way worse for me.
