Android App to Calculate McMaster GPA

Want to keep track of your GPA and average per course? Nicholas (aka. 'BlackDragon' in the forums), a fourth-year Electrical Engineer at McMaster has developed a smartphone app to do just that.

After inputing your marks, the app will calculate your grade averages based on McMaster's 12-point scale. You'll be able to track your overall GPA calculations on an ongoing basis.

Check it out in the Google Play store here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...rademanagement

See the forum discussion where BlackDragon first released the app:

Couldn't agree more! I've been here 4 years and the only minor update happened last year But with all the great initiatives I've seen on Macinsiders, it makes me wonder why Mac doesn't hire some of its incredibly talented students to at least contribute and help speed up the process a bit or get then involved somehow.

Im sure after suffering through the system a year or two, most students would VOLUNTARILY create a better interface and overall system!

Mac UTS doesnt WANT it better....
welcome to politics. You see if its still bad then the people have something to do and improve. A good programmer could create a new backend quite quickly (few months by ones self). But then that would negate the purpose of so many people. Many universities suffer this problem. Ive known people who work in them and always hear the same things.

It makes sense, but I feel like the money aspect is more prevalent in this case (totally speculating of course). Don't get me started on politics. I escape world politics only to find more and more everywhere else

Basic conversion to 4.0 is done.

However, I am debating if I should add conversion to all universities scales... Right now it uses the OMSAS conversion which will be available next update
