Any Advice?
Hey!
I'm officially signing up for my courses on July 3rd, but my friend and I did a mock-up schedule of our own.
Can anyone just go through it and check if it's okay?
ie: the courses are balanced, etc.
We also included the lab and tutorial dates because we thought we were suppose to do that too. lol (but we weren't..) Hopefully everything is okay, though.
I'm open for any suggestions / recommendations.

good job on preparing early! you're allowed to choose your tutorial times and lab times, i believe, so you've done a good job at trying to space things out.
Assuming you've copied and written everything down correctly, you don't have any conflicts, and you have a one hours space for lunch too!
My first year schedule was a bit more spread out because I worried about back-to-back courses and not being able to find a seat. I suggest you make friends in your classes so that they can save you seats, otherwise it might get tough finding, since a lot of people go to classes they're not enrolled it.
Generally speaking, all first year science student courses are pretty standard.
I might suggest however, trying to get your labs to be the last thing on your schedule for the day, or at least having an hour after your lab. Although you're supposed to be done your labs around 5/10 minutes before the actual ending time, sometimes you might go overtime (especially with group work).

Don't you not know which is second week until the start of school? Sometimes odd is first and sometimes even is first. But once school starts, I agree that you should try to get into the second week! (Same with bio)

Yeah, try to bring a laptop to class so that you can switch right away. I'm very sure that everyone will try to switch once they get back to residence.

For bio, it doesn't matter, for chem, it matters (a lot).

In your first class they will say "Odd sections are week A and Even sections are week B" or vice versa. Basically you want to be in week B.
