I also have read some more mature manga and watched more mature anime such as Welcome to the NHK and Onani Master Kurosawa. (Seriously this one is good despite it's description).

I highly recommend reading Nozoki Ana which is a pretty mature ecchi manga but a great story overall. Its on the last volume right now.

I also recommend reading Shokugeki no Souma which is an awesome cooking manga in weekly jujmp by the author of Harem Time. A well known hentai.
Nozoki Ana ending is pretty rushed I think. Onani is def one of my favorite mature manga out of the bunch.

And I definitely have to catch up on Conan...
They said if the movie does well, they'll consider continuing, and since it's done better than the first one, I'd say the possibilities are pretty high I never believe them when they say it's the end xD the manga is ongoing so this is definitely just a hiatus to let sorachi produce more content.

they'd better come back soon. I need my gintama fix x(

Top 5 List?
1. Full Metal Alchemist Brother Hood Edition
1. Death Note
3. Fate/Zero
4. Devil May Cry
5. Howls Moving Castle

Sorry, I don't think I have ever watched any more. I guess it's because none of None of them compare to FMA and death note. As for manga, I try not to go down that route because of I think almost all of them contain content that I would rather not set eyes on.

Anyway, I would love to take a look at some of your recommendations for something comparable to DN or FMA.

I would recommend Berserk but do not watch episode 1 until you finished the series. Its a short series too so it won't take much of your time.

Another one that I love is Now and Then, Here and There. Relatively short series too but watch out; you will need lots of tissues.

uh... what
that's an enormous and unfounded generalization :/ that's like saying all animes are filled with hentai. manga is just as varied as anime is. and since there are mangas of the series you mention you've watched/liked (death note, fma), I'm astounded by your claim.

I'm a fan of anime/manga! does anyone know if the Mac anime club (forgot what it was called) organize events to anime conventions or something?

Totally fan of Shingeki no Kyojin right now. I've been reading it since december 2011 and really glad it became quite well known now (besides the causally haters )

also a fan of Free! as well. Not sure what else is coming out this fall/winter season 2013 for animes

Manga is just basically a word for comics. If you think of comics, they can have different theme and cater to different group.

One Piece is a good manga or comics. Should definitely check it out.

I highly recommend everyone read Shokugeki No Souma. It's a cooking manga featured in Weekly Jump. The artist is Tosh who did the art for the hentai Harem Time. However, the art in the manga is amazing and I find that it does really well in expressing how the characters feel when eating really good food.

I don't think I saw them too. The oldest club is Osamu but I can't find their directory in the clubs list. Try searching FB. There is also the Geek club I saw

Dunno if they're holding any meetings irregardless though

I myself love a bunch of older animes. It sounds nerdy but some of them are really over-the-top.
For example, Genocyber had so much realistic gore.
