Anyone else finding connectivity particularity bad this year?
I've been noticing the internet connectivity on campus seems to be worse this year than ever before. There are so many connected devices, that sometimes I have trouble just getting an IP address...
Wireless has always been pretty bad, but now even wired computers are running like they're on dialup.
I could just be super unlucky for all I know. Anyone else experiencing terrible connectivity?

Yes, I have noticed this...even though they improved the WiFi last year :/

Yes! I'm so glad you started this thread. I can't even get connectivity in the Student Centre anymore. It never works in BSB or ITB... it's kinda ironic. If the internet was gonna work anywhere on campus, I'd definitely think it would work in the Information Technology Building. It's ridiculous. Our tuition calls for decent internet access!

Yep, this year is worse than ever. Couldnt connect in HSL, and MDCL was spotty. Thanks Mac

my connectivity is indeed PRACTICULARITY bad this year! PRATICULARITY in BSB and Thode. I was PRATICULARITY angry when i couldnt even connect on the wired computers.

I use eduroam instead of macsecure and macconnect, haven't had any problems with it.

I got a ping of 1152 ms and .15 Mbps down this morning in Thode. I was displeased (although I think my wireless card is starting to die as well). |

The internet is absolutely brutal this year. I also cant remember seeing as many students as we are this year as well. Honestly, I think there are way more first year students this year then ever before and that's probably why the internet is ridiculously slow...or at least one of the reasons
