Anyone get any updates from Mac since accepting?
I got accepted early, in January, by email. The email said they won't be sending any acceptance package to me, just the email. I sent in the student registration form but haven't heard from McMaster since my acceptance email in January.
I can log onto MUGSI, and humanities 1 choose their courses late June I think.. but I'm wondering if it's normal to not have heard anything from them at all? I guess my previous college spoiled me by sending me letters every week.

Why would you hand in the SRF so early?
Also as long as acknowledging you accepting their offer, I got an email saying 'Welcome to McMaster, blah blah blah.' Shortly afterward in the mail I got my admissions package. I suggest calling up the university to see what is happening.

Yeah, I didn't even get an acknowledging email after I accepted. I had to email them asking and all I got as a response was "Yes". This was a couple months ago.

So what's the problem? You're in. Wait for course registration.

Sometimes they do mistakes. I didn't get my package until I called them.

You should have got a package, it's always better to call and check.

For some reason, they don't send acceptance packages to everyone. I know a mature student who was accepted, but the email told them they wouldn't receive an acceptance/admissions package in the mail. I have no idea why though.

Hm that may be the reason for me. I've been to college previously and worked for a couple years. So I guess I'm considered a mature student and didn't bother with the package. I'll probably phone them anyway.

I suggest calling them to find out what's going on, just in case, and so that there's no delay for you to register for courses

Since the letter of acceptance I also haven't heard anything from Mac, and I'm a transfer student so that might have something to do with it. I think we will get our ID cards in the mail at some point this summer though.

Im going into 1st year at Mac from high school...after accepting the offer on OUAC, I received the official hard copy of the admission...but nothing after that. I'm assuming they will send info on course registration etc...within the coming weeks.
