Hey guys,

If anyone has taken this course with prof. Fleras could you please tell me the exam formats and just how the course was generally? I couldn't find a course review on it.

I haven't taken it but I'm planning to this year and my friend took it this past year. She told me most of the format is multiple choice and short answer and that one of the midterms had an essay question. You could also look up the course outline on the school website if you haven't already.

I checked the outline already it doesn't say anything about the format of the exams. Also, I read this in the outline also:
"Course Requirements
BASIC PACKAGE = 2 tests (30+ 30) + final exam (40)
OPTIONAL PACKAGE = 2 tests + final exam + ESSAY (20 marks) (Test Marks will be adjusted
accordingly)
* Bonus assignments (to be discussed)"
Would your friend know about this and if they actually got this option?

She did mention to me that he offered them bonus assignments, but didn't specify what they were. I'm not sure about the essay option though because she never mentioned it when telling me about the course.
