Applying for Combined Honours
Howdy Y'all,

I was just wondering how one would select to go into a combined honours program on the major selection part of MUGSI when they haven't done the prerequisites for one of the two programs they want to combine. I ask this because I am thinking of going into a combined honours program in Classics (which I am in now) and Anthropology (in which I haven't taken any of the first year courses).

Is this possible?

If you apply for the double now you'll basically be told you will be accepted into the anthro following the completion of the courses you need.

you might as well just apply for classics and then apply for anthro later on; you can change your program multiple times throughout the course of your degree

Oh, so if I state my Major to be "Honours Classics" now, it does not necessarily bar me from choosing a Combined Honours in Classics and Anthropology later?

Hm......perfect.....

Correct! I changed from Anthropology (non-Honours) to Anthropology (Honours) to Combined Anthropology and CSCT Honours within a span of about three terms.
