I couldn't apply for OSAP this summer because I was in international student status. Now I have a permanent residence visa. Is there such thing as applying for osap for term 2? Or anything similar? (I emailed the financial aid office but there was no reply, might be because of holiday closure and I thought it would be better to know before term 2 starts)

I guess you can call it "applying for term 2" but in reality you can apply for OSAP at any time during a 2 term program as long as it's before 90 days prior to the end of the term (Which would be sometime in February). The only thing is that because 45 days has passed since the start of the school year, your entitlement will only be calculated for the remainder of the year from the day you apply.
