With the academic year wrapping up in a matter of days, many students are either moving to new student accommodations, or into their first place as a student. Some
students may still be looking for a place, while others may not get their keys for a few months. Regardless, this article rewind has a lot of tips for students looking to move into a student house, with tips on how to furnish it as well as the sorts of things you may need.
I know with myself, I tried to spend as little money as possible. I knew that what I was buying was bought for a matter of function, rather than aesthetics. As such, I got to be pretty creative, and didn't spend a whole lot of money. Some places I suggest you check out: garage sales, flea markets, re-use centers, family attics and basements, and
the dollar store (to name a few options).
I re-purposed a lot of my furniture, and although it didn't match, I think it's awesome. It was also a great way to save money!
