Assistive Technology and Learning Strategies Seminar

Technology and Learning Strategies Seminar

The Centre for Student Development is offering a seminar on Thursday November 6th. The seminar is available to any student with a disability. It will be on the available assistive technology that Mac has to offer and will also include a comprehensive overview of several learning strategies administered by our learning strategist. It is taking place in the Mills Memorial Library (WONG E-CLASSROOM) from 7pm-8pm. It is recommended to any student who is having difficulties with school so far, or even if there are some who wish to improve just a little bit more.

It will cover assistive programs that show you how to mind map and programs that include text-t0-speech software.

It will be headed by Clark Cipryk (assitive technologist) and Joanne
Buckley (learning strategist).
