Athabasca labs
If I take their Chem course online, how am I going to do the labs? Also, if you've taken it, how was your experience? Do you think it's easier than Mac?

I posted this in another one of your threads, but when I was looking into doing microbio through athabasca, I would have had to fly to Alberta to do the labs.

Why not do Chem at mac, 1A03 and 1AA3 were by far the best taught and best organized first year courses at mac, they really set you up to do well by giving you tons of options for extra help, old midterms and exams for practice, and just by having some awesome instructors.

Delivery Mode: Individualized study online with a mandatory two-day supervised lab.
CHEM 218 Athabasca
The first one (chem 217) can be done with labs that are mailed to you. you might as well just do it at Mac or another university instead of online. plus if you're interested in med school, i know that the mcgill website says it doesnt take online courses to satisfy prereqs. the ontario places you'd probably be fine for anyway since they dont really have much prereqs, but if you planned on applying to professional schools in the states it might end up being more trouble than its worth if they have similar policies and whatnot.

A friend did it just last summer with Athabasca and it definitely hasn't changed or will change any time soon, unfortunately!

Agreed. These courses were pretty organized and well taught classes (although the tutorials were completely useless imo).
