Automatic OSAP payment
When initially submitting my OSAP application, I checked "no" to the box, "Ministry may use a portion of my OSAP funding to pay, on my behalf, tuition and compulsory fees directly to my school". After finding out we must select "yes" in order to use the OSAP Flex payment plan, I emailed Financial Aid on July 25th asking them to edit my OSAP application in order for the money to be automatically paid.

I checked my OSAP application online today, and the box is still checked "no". Has anyone else had this issue? Would they have made the edit without it actually changing on my online app?

Thanks in advance!

Did they email you back confirming it was changed? I got the email after 2 weeks. Also, you had to include ur mac id and osap #. Btw, are we suppose to pay the school before osap is released? Bc osap estimate I will be given enough money to cover my tuition.

I did not receive an email back. When you look at your OSAP application online, does the box still say "no", or has it actually been changed to "yes" after receiving an email back?

When OSAP is released, the money will be directly deposited to the school. If you have no remainig amount to pay (because osap covers it all), then the remaining money will be deposited into your bank account.
