average hrs of class for social sciences?
im making a bunch of random mock timetables, and some days turn out to have one class thats an hour and other days have like 5 hours of classes. what would be a good average amount of hours a day of classes, that would make balancing work/social life not as overwhelming? im going into social sciences
thanks

I wouldn't worry too much about average per day, it depends on the sections. You should look at what time you get home instead, which is when you'd basically have work, etc.

However, three or four straight hours is about most people's limit, but seven or more hours a day isn't bad if you have a break or two (Science students get caught in this, because labs are like three hours).

I don't know about soc sci too much.

Thats completely irrelavent. Just depends on how easily you get bored.
Because in the end, you'll still have the same amount of class in a week.
First year, first semester, i had 4 hours of class in a row friday mornings between 830-1230. It was quite alright. I also had 2 classes on wed 830-1030, meaning i was done class by the time some people woke up and had the rest of the day off to spend on doing hw... LAWL yah right... i went to limeridge quite a few times on wednesdays.
But then there were days, where i had labs, so you start class at 830, and you get a couple hours spread out in between, but wont be done class/lab till about 630
So yah, since ur in social science without labs, you can't have more 5hrs a day, and its really not that bad.

3-4 hours a day is about the average, but it depends on the class times themselves.
