how is the average counted at the end of the year? do they take the average of both the 1st and 2nd semester or do they just give us the 2nd semester's final average?

Just wanted to clarify sessional average for those planning on taking summer courses. You're sessional average is your average for the session. There are 2 sessions; fall/winter and spring/summer.

ur cumulative avg is (total grade points)/(total units - usually 30 units for the equivalent of 5 full yr courses)

where grade points = (ur final grade %) * (number of course units - usually 3 or 6, see the last number of course code i.e. Chem 1A03 --> 3 units)
