Med Rad Average
Hello all, Im just asking a question on behalf of my sister.

the minimum required average to stay in med rad is a 5 and she is just below it.
Does anyone know if she gets kicked out of the program automatically or does it just put her at the bottom of the second year stream priority list?

Also does anyone know who would be the best person to contact about this issue?

I would tell your "sister" to talk to an academic adviser. If your "sister" is going into 2nd year then I believe she will not be let in program and she will have to mirror it next year.

From: http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALEN...12/pg1606.html

"To continue in the Medical Radiation Science program, a student must maintain a minimum Cumulative Average of 5.0 and successfully complete all Medical Radiation Sciences courses. Failure to do so may prevent progression to the next term and/or level.

A student whose Cumulative Average is at least 4.5 may, at the discretion of the Reviewing Committee, proceed in the program but will be placed on program probation for one review period of two consecutive terms. A student may be placed on program probation only once during the program."

I assume your sister will be between 4.5 and 5.0, so looks like she will have to explain her low marks to a reviewing committee. She still has hope, though.

And note to thedog123123, there is no mirroring of the Med Rad program.
