That awkward when you make references to things such as video games, tv tropes, comic books, and other geeky/niche things and you're friends don't get them because A) you have few friends to begin with B) none of which are into this kind of stuff

That awkward moment in the library when you close your laptop screen and unplug your earphones to realize that a random foreign song is still playing and there is nothing you can do for the next 10 seconds except let the music blast until the laptop goes to sleep.

^I found out a few weeks ago when you mentioned about being a guy (I think it was in the Christmas presents thread or somesuch). I was very surprised. xD
That awkward moment when you think your username is girly and you're not very proud of it and then you find out someone perceived it as being macho ("I thought it was Fear, with the two letters mixed up in the middle!"). And then you ruin it for them.
