I applied to Mac with 3 A-level subjects (Math, Engineering and Chemistry). My condition for Engineering is a B in each of the subjects. Math and Chemistry are fine. But I messed up my Physics exam. I'm kinda expecting a C. Results come out around August 15. I honestly don't wanna mess up this chance to get to Mac. The rest of the universities I applied to had to be pushed aside cuz I could only pick one and their deadlines are all over. My back-up universities are all shit. Is Mac a little lenient? Idk maybe give me a few extra courses in Physics to catch up? =S

When I applied the standards were predicted at around 80. My conditional offer (for both years that I applied) were also 80. So whatever your conversion rate use that as a general guideline. This is under the assumption that your acceptance is the same as Ontario students where you take required courses+top remaining courses (sum of 6) as your acceptance average.

I'd guess that maybe if your overall average was decent they might let it pass (also dependent on the number of students entering MacEng this year). You may wanna email/call up the uni and talk to a councilor about it.

We only have the final exams that count. The tests in between don't really matter. So we don't really have a sum of 6 or whatever. I guess Mac will only have a look on my final grades which I expect them to be an A, a B and a C
Or do you mean the average of all 3 subjects combined because that kinda seems not likely =S

Your "top six" refers to the top six final marks in different subjects...I assume you've taken at least six different subjects? It doesn't matter whether your term tests count or not, it's the final grade they care about.
