The Beanstalk Project - Interested in Mentoring?

Interested in mentoring high school students in a youth leadership and engagement iniative? Then The Beanstalk Projectis for you! First off, this is short notice but its being held at McMaster University from Friday February 19th until Sunday February 21st. To sign up as a mentor go to: www.thebeanstalkproje ct.org On the left side click "Get Involved", then click on "5. Become a Mentor" and fill out the application.
For those of you that sign up there will be a training session on Thursday February 18th from 6pm- 9pm in ETB 238.

Now you're probably wondering what is the Beanstalk Project? It is a youth engagement initative to create global leaders and bring about social change. We strongly believe that youth want to do good and create positive change but lack the tools, support or foundation to do so, the Beanstalk Project is here to provide delegates with the tools they need to act as leaders and believe they're projects are more than ideas- but attainable goals they can work to achieve.

The Executive Director of the Beanstalk Project is a Mac alumni and inspirational speaker Joel Hilchey and will feature George Roter, Co-CEO of Engineers Without Borders- Canada as the keynote speaker
