I told my entire family not to give me anything.

I instead got a 27" HD LCD monitor, a ton of cash and my favourite gift:

The Count of Monte Cristo, 50+ or so year old copy of the novel... could have just been given the book and been happy.

That's so cool! The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favourite novels. I haven't really met anyone else (well, except for one other person) who loves it as much as I do.

@CrashPlague: I love them too. Words can't describe how incredibly amazing this band was. I will never get enough of Sgt. Pepper's, Rubber Soul, Revolver (or any of their other albums for that matter).
