Exam on Holiday
So I have an exam on Easter Monday. Just wondering if this is commonplace considering it is a government holiday. What about the religious people who may have to do there religious stuff?

Easter Monday is not a holiday
(although it's celebrated by many Christians) ...it's just the day after Easter. In Ontario it's celebrated the same as the Civic holiday in August -- only governmental employees get the day off...

So essentially you're SOL.

Easter Monday is never off, and I have a feeling that Family Day will always fall on reading week lol.

I don't even like the idea of having an exam on the Saturday...but I think its better than the Monday because at least you won't be cramming over the holiday Sunday

Try being Orthodox lol. Not only do I have to return to school on Christmas day, but I usually don't even get to celebrate my Saint Day.

I'd happily trade my statutory holidays for a 4 month summer.

It'd be nice to have no exam tomorrow especially at 9 am. I can't be with my family both on good friday and easter sunday. Thank you McMaster
