best study spots?
where are the best study spots around campus? someplace that is somewhat isolated and is not the student center or mills.

Often there are classrooms that are empty for an hour, which is good when you want to study during a 1-hour spare in your schedule. Problem is, tutorials don't start til 2nd or 3rd week, then a lot of those rooms get filled up.

In the evening the rooms in the basements of the arts quad buildings are virtually empty

I haven't thought about the seminar rooms in 2nd-7th floor of TSH/CNH/KTH, but there might be good rooms there that never get used.

Plus then your profs get to see you studying like a serious person and all.

I used to think the libraries were a good spot for studying but I'm interested in trying out some these suggested places. I'm not fond of studying at the libraries at McMaster anymore due to high incidences of theft.
