bio 3dd3?
hey is anyone in that course? there's no discussion for the course so I was wondering if anyone is here.. I am not sure what to think of the course so far...
I heard in tutorials, we have to do a 45 min presentation with a group that consists of 20 people? is this true?

yep thats true! so far this course is a headache! Preparing a 20 group member presentation is pretty much impossible. How the hell are you supposed to find meeting times to accommodate 20 ppl!

each presentation is 1 percent each, no one is going to fully prepare for them anyways so who cares. You get 13% just for attendance. Im not a big fan of the prof thou.

ah thanks for confirming this. Yes I totally agree... 20 people presentations sound like a really bad idea.

This course has let me down in just about every way so far. I was really looking forward to the course, but due to the incredibly unorganized tutorials and post-lecture note publishing, I'm starting to think its going to be a headache the whole way through. Two thumbs way down.

Yeah, I was also really excited about this course because I like the subject. However, I think it's gonna be more trouble than it's worth... I think they didn't hire enough TAs too maybe (I remember the prof saying that it was intended to be a "small class")
