Biochem 3N03 vs. Hth Sci 3I03
Hey

I have to take a class from my course list.
Does anybody know how easy/interesting each of the 2 classes are?

biochem 2n03 = nutrition
hth sci 3I03 = immunology

Thanks in advance.

The course reviews would be a good place to start if you haven't checked it already (see the bar above where the search bar is).

Hey
I've taken both Immunology and Nutrition.
Easier/more interesting: definitely nutrition.
HOWEVER, it is not a light workload. Either of them.
Immunology- we had 2 tests (one very fair, one not so much), take home exam, 2 assignments, ALOT of memorization, and PBL project
Nutrition- concept papers every 2 weeks (easy, just a review of lecture material), a fun op-ed piece, 2 tests, and a group project, also a lot of material to memorize, I enjoyed the course and got an A in it (eventhough I didn't do that well on the tests), the concept papers really help bump your mark.
If you've got any more questions, message me

Immunology (3I03) was easy but boring. Plus, the exam was a take-home exam that was marked pretty brutally. The midterms and assignments were a breeze. Ididn't like Ashkar or Chauchic very much either. :\

i found immunology reallly interesting! But i took it 1.5 years ago and I believe the format has changed. But the topic matter was really interesting and the difficulty was not too bad.
Nutrition was interesting too cause we had nice papers to write, but the tests were based on the biochem portion, which is just memorizing boring pathways, which Im not too fond off. Nutrition, you can take advantage of group work, and do well in the course even if you did badly on the tests. Everything can be done in group work besides the test. (obviously)

In the end, both were really good courses, some of my favourite, take both if you can. But I ended up doing better in Nutrition due to the group wark even tho I did bad on my tests. I ended up with a b- but it was still a good course.
