Chembio takes ~30 people with a cutoff of ~9
Biochem takes ~100 people with a cutoff of ~9 (the specializations require higher averages and take less people...I think there are maybe 35-40 people in all specializations combined).
Chem takes ~30 people, and I have no idea what the cutoff is.

System sucks for me...unless are they fixing the system for majors with psych options too...which I doubt...

They're not changing it for other majors with Psych electives, as well as just minors in Psych.

I've heard the cut off for Honours Biology and Mathematics is around 7 - 7.5ish, and that last year they only took in ten students.
I don't know why it's such a ridiculously low number, though.

It's probably because not a lot of people do apply to it, because you need Math 1A03, 1AA3, and 1B03. There's not a lot of people taking all three first year, and are also interested in the program.

Is that Honors Biology as well as Mathematics?
Or is it "Honors Biology & Mathematics"?

Honours Biology and Mathematics, not Honours Biology as well as Honours Mathematics.

That's a shame, though, it's a good program...if you can stomach the maths exams...

Just to be clear, do these cut-offs mean that that's the lowest mark they accepted?
For the Psych programs I mentioned, they are.

kind of, it all depends on demand. honours bio was really popular last year so they didn't take anyone lower than a 7.8 but the year be4 that they took people with a 6.2
