Birthday Ideas
Hey guys

My friend's 18th birthday is next week but as exams are beginning next week, we need some fun, low cost ideas that do not involve drinking or partying. Somewhere preferably in Hamilton.

All we have so far are

-karaoke singing
-dinner
-movies

As you can see, not much of a choice so far. Ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much

-Ish

My friends and I usually go to Sapporo for birthday dinners - they give you a free cake. And then go to someone's house and play games and/or get drunk.

there is certainly more to do in hamilton then just movies and dinner.

there's lazertag ($9 a head) on upper james near the linc, it's in the same plaza as wendy's.

there's go karting if you go far along upper james, as well as paintball!

on thursday nights, if you go to O-Lounge (look it up), they hold a salsa dance party, free lesson at 9pm, $10 cover if i'm not mistaken.

all fun things to do.

If your friend likes sushi, then go to Sapporo. If it's because of the words "free cake," then don't. The free cake is shit.

edit/

Have a house party - order take-out and rent a movie? Get some board games? Taboo? Or make a cake? Here's the recipe to a cake I initially wanted to make, but never got to it... ;-;

There is a bowling alley at the University Plaza, it has the weirdest layout since it is in the basement. At first before I went in, I went WTF, how can a bowling alley fit in a tiny building?

There's a Chinese restaurant several doors away if you're hungry, their beef Shanghai noodles are awesome. There's Bulk Barn down the other way if you want candy.

God I love University Plaza.
