actually, I think the avenue system's upgrades are done by desire2learn, the company that designed the system.

Well from a university perspective:

Students will only use MUGSI/SOLAR a handful of times during the year. D2L most students use daily throughout the year.

I feel like renting a computer lab & hiring a few people just for this day :/

I wonder if there is any point to get in anymore... everything good is probably gone.

Unbelievable. I have been trying to get into SOLAR since 8:15 am and haven't managed to get in once. I have three browsers open and have been clicking near-constantly for more than two hours. I'm tired, I'm pissed off... if I don't get in by 10:30 I'm calling it quits for now. This is more frustrating than I can handle right now.

It is absolutely mindblowing that one of the "supposedly best" universities in Canada uses a system so woefully inept and inadequate. This should be McMaster's #1 priority on getting fixed.

Just a one little question. How many students per class (mandatory) allowed... I know it differs from years and what course it is... but approximately...how many per class?
Anyone in first year life sci already got in? Tell me if morning classes are full..

This is soo annoying! Should I wait for the Blank page to load or should I click on Solar again..?

I highly agree. Heard many people are complaining about the system directly to school... don't understand why they wouldn't change the system...

I've noticed that if it's blank, it'll probably load later to tell you that it's full.
