Is there anything you need to bring with you? like ID or health card or money or anything?

You def. do not need money, I can't remember if you need ID/ Health Card but its better to be safe and just bring your wallet with that general stuff.

You need ID with a signature. Student card doesn't count. I showed them my SIN card. They need something with your full name.

So approx. how much blood do they take from you?

lol sorry for the 21 questions, but it's going to be my first time donating tomorrow and I'm just really curious about the whole process, trying to prepare myself becuase I have this huge irrational fear of needles =P

The blood taken is not that much, it's less than a pint I believe. I'll be honest, the needle is big looking, but it's not that bad. A quick pinch and you're done. Some people feel a little itchy where the needle is in but it's nothing that will drive you crazy, besides the nurses make sure they have steady hands!

You'll be alright! promise Just think about the fact that you're doing an awesome thing for someone who needs that blood.
