Borrowing Library Books!!
Hey guys! i just had a question about library books if you know, whens the last day to keep them during the year? like is there a specific date before finals when all books have to be returned or can you also borrow books past that? like into the summer?

Better to ask the librarian. Since libraries are open during the summer I don't see why not. And you are actually borrowing a book? I I am in 4th year and never even borrowed a book at mac before.

Ummm it's been a while since I've done this, but isn't there a "due date" for books to be back by? Depending on the specific book and when you checked it out? Check your receipt.

You can borrow books for two weeks, and then renew them online if you wish (for a maximum of six times, unless someone else books in a request for that same book).

As for borrowing them into the summer, I think you might be required to return them during the exam period? I'm not 100% sure on that rule, and it might be something I'm confusing from HS.

The library's website mentions no books-must-be-returned-during-exams so you might be fine.

^ agreed. It also wouldn't hurt to double check with a librarian on campus, or visit the website for info

I have a question about borrowing at the McMaster Libraries. Can a student place hold or reserve a book in the McMaster library system? If so it doesn't seem to clearly and obviously noticeable in the online catalog.....
