Bursaries?
Is it just me, or are they not out yet?
In previous years they were usually calculated by the end of January.

It might be because there were more applicants this year or because they had less/more donations to sort through?

Here's what is said on MUGSI:

I spoke to a financial aid rep about a month ago and she told me not to even expect the bursary until end of February this year so it was decided beforehand that it wouldn't be out early.

Thanks for the info guys. I was expecting it to be out the same time as previous years, which is why I started to wonder.

I was wondering the same thing. The last two years my bursary application decision was made BEFORE February started, I called them the other day and they told me the final decision will be made on the 15th of February and if I don't see it by then I'm not getting one. They also told me checks would be mailed towards the end of February and not to expect the funds until March.
If anyone has already received a bursary, or sees something on MUGSI other than "being assessed" please post ! I'm not worried yet, but this delay in funding has me worrying - especially since I am relying on this funding to pay for the rest of the semester....

Mine still shows a date from September 2012 and "being assessed"... There WAS however one day I checked back in January on my iPhone (screen shotted it to for reference) and it showed the September date, "being assessed", AND a C... But since then that no longer appears and I paid off my student account in the beginning of January so I'm not sure if that means anything or if they have reassessed things since

BURSARIES ARE OUT!!!!!!!!
I got one this year shockingly. I had to pay back $2000 in osap in dec because of how much money I make this term. Thought for sure I wasn't going to get anything. EEEKKK!!!!!!
