Bus Pass Active
Just wanted to remind everyone that your HSR bus pass is now active. I talked with a driver and they said it's the first Monday before September, not the 1st. Took 3 buses today and all three drivers accepted it.

You wanna know the definition of irony?
Its when you are out of money on your Presto card, you try to pay online but forget the SecureCode for your CanadianTire credit card and get it blocked. So you walk to university under heavy rain for 40 minutes, to do your stuff and recharge your presto card. Then you waist 2 dollars from it to get home, just to find out that you could have used your MacID.... I hate my life.

took the bus maybe four-six times over the past weekend, none of the drivers had a problem with it.
the driver i asked actually told me "i'm pretty sure we started accepting them two weeks ago..."
i'm almost certain that he was wrong,
not that it matters anymore in any case
happy riding

Was a bit hesitant using it on the mountain but it worked. Took 4 busses and no complaints.

If you have your Student ID card and a sticker that has "HSR" (among other things on it), then you can use that as a bus pass. You get a new sticker each year. As long as you have a valid sticker, your Student ID card works as a bus pass during the normal school year. It doesn't count as a bus pass over the summer months however, so if you end up taking summer school, you'll need to figure something else out.

I received my red sticker, but for some reason it doesn't say HSR on it! Does anyone know why this could be? I tried contacting student services but they still haven't got back to me :(

Are you sure you're a full time student? The sticker is only people with 18 units per semester.

Full-time is 24 units. 18 units to be a MSU member (which is where the HSR pass comes from).
