Hate to revive a dead thread but seriously... Anyone know anything relating to business informatics or second level computer science in general? Any advice, any of anything?

I dont think you can even do comp sci and management because it technically *isn't* an engineering degree, although it is within the same faculty

Edit:
You can however go into Honours Business Informatics

Quote:
Computer Science I students interested in entering the Honours Business Informatics program must take ECON 1B03 and 1BB3 as six units of electives. From: http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALEN...nt/pg1197.html

It might help if you read the undergraduate calendar for each of the programs you're looking at:

Econ & Comp Sci
http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /calendar/current/pg1681.html

Econ & Comp Sci
http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /calendar/current/pg1199.html

You can click on each of the courses you'll be taking and read a short description.. That's the best way (I find) to really get a feel for what you will be studying for the next 3 years. Or talk to someone in the programs, but that doesn't seem to be working for you.

Good luck!
