CA on mosaic
So i decided to calculate my CA and it was higher by 0.2 than what mosaic gave me. I'm sure I calculated it the wright way. this is an example of what I did:

units taken: 3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3=3 0 ........(all my courses are 3 units, I don't have 6 units)

grades: 1(3)+2(3)+3(3)+4(3)+5 (3)+6(3)+7(3)+8(3)+9( 3)+0(3)=135

so 135/30=4.5

I have a few cancelled courses, there are no grades for them so i didn't include them in my calculations, could this be the reason my CA is less on mosaic vs. me calculating it? But then why would they include canceled courses in your CA ??

(I know 0.2 isn't much, but i'm curious and i wanna know where this 0.2 came from)

thanks for your time

You're calculation method is correct and like you pointed out, cancelled courses can't be used since there isn't a mark. You may have just entered a number in wrong or something. Try a couple of times and if it's still not right, contact your faculty office. 0.2 may not sound like much but that's 0.2 you earned!

CA is cumulative average over all courses you have ever taken at Mac - based on the date you joined MI it looks like you should have more than just 30 units. Did you include all of your grades in your calculation?

LOL I said "this is an example of what I did:" it was just an example, plus I put the grades as 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 I thought that would reinforce that I just made up an example. I wasn't going to actually show how I calculated 70+units :/
