Is CUPE properly getting the word out there that there will be a meeting?
Union members who want to vote need to make sure they get their voices heard.

Personally I am not too thrilled with a 12 hour notice of a meeting delivered on Halloween. But we trying to get the word out. We don't even have a location yet though.
All I can say is if you are a unit 1 member SHOW UP SHOW UP SHOW UP. If we work toghther as a team we WILL have our voices heard I promise you.

Yeah it does suck that the meeting is such short notice. Hopefully people will show up though. It's really important.

This is what unionism was built on... the power of the collective. Not the perverted entity that CUPE is while their president makes stupid comments alienating many of the forced members.
Why is it that leftist activism persists in a manner that ignores democracy and intelligence. It's all about selfishness in the name of benevolence.
"Oh UofT has higher wages so we must fight so our underpaid sweatshop worker TAs also make that much... and wait let's just ignore this big chunk who claim that they don't want to strike or a raise because they are dirty rotten scabs!"
