But yea, I thought they were literally the same size and thickness. Alls I know is that the iphone is sturdy as shit, like unbelievably so. Don't see why they wouldn't make the itouch as strong as the phone. XD

You don't need Itunes to sync your songs if you don't want to download it...it is increeedibly bloated...there are many different programs out there that have a "sync to ipod" feature, and with the touch, as soon as you jailbreak it you can use other players...I used Amarok to sync my mini back in the day (haha I know...mini??!) and you can use other players up until the 2.0 software...I think they're still working on the patch for the 3.0.

Google is your friend. So is Amazon. So is Epinions. You could read literally hundreds of reviews on Amazon ranked 5 to one stars, many of them written by professionals.
