iPod Touch Ad Hoc Internet?
I've set up an ad hoc network from my computer to my ipod. Is it possible to somehow share my wired internet connection in my room via this ad hoc connection so my ipod has internet access? If so, how? Thanks for your help!

Make it simple and just use a wireless router. I bought one for $30, and they can be easily used in your room's ethernet port.

If you want to create an ad hoc network for your ipod, wire your computer to the internet... go to network connections/network and sharing center (for those of you with Vista) in control panel, set up a connection or network, and then set up a wireless ad hoc (computer to computer) network.. Create a name for it, decide if you want it secured (password required) no point really.. unless u suspect ur living next to high tech hackers.. and you're done!

All you need is to connect to the previously named network from your iPod
