I have never used an MSAF before but I'm pretty sure the answer is no.

You are responsible for making a judgement call regarding your capability of writing a test.
Unless you passed out or had a seizure or something totally unexpected happened during the exam, don't expect any sympathy. You were capable of showing up and sitting through the exam, and you can't just pretend it didn't happen. It doesn't matter if you get a doctor's note after writing the exam. Can you imagine how much that would be abused? As if the MSAF isn't abused enough, now you want to allow anybody who feels they did poorly on an exam to go to a doctor the next day and get a note excusing them from it retroactively?

Are undergraduate students getting stupider and stupider each year? The purpose of this form is if you are absent it's not a "oh, I did poorly on the test I want a do-over form." Sometimes in life you'll fuck up, and you have to accept it and learn how to move on from whatever mistake you made.
In my first year we didn't have the MSAF. I flunked a midterm and yes I was upset, but I couldn't ask for a do-over, I rethinked my study habits, went to the TAs for extra help, and took better notes in class. This isn't high school anymore, you're an adult and this is real life.
/endrant.

So wait... the OP fucked up royally, and expects that the University will just say... "oh you didnt do well? Well lets just pretend that test never happened..." I feel like someone (your roommate, a friend, the homeless man on the street) should have givern you a stern smack upside the head the moment you posted this question on here

Careful, last time I said that, I got my account banned for "not being inclusive and supportive".

Well you have to remember, it just matters if one of the incredibly oversensitive MI users decides to report it
