Can I take course reserves out of the library?
Simple question. Can I take a course reserve out of the library as long as I return it in time?

You can't? You sure?
My experience with University libraries is that you can take out the reserve. The only limit is the time you have with it.
Ah.. Seems like there are specific reserves that are in library only.

You can take them out as long as it doesn't specify "For use in library only"!

You can take course reserves out for 2 hours only. They once made an exception and let me take a reserve out for 2 weeks, but that was during the summer.

You can actually take them out for either 2 hours, 24 hours or 1 week; depends on what your prof decided, but it's defaulted at 2 hours.

But then you won't get an opportunity to correct them.

It sounds like you thought my previous post was offensive, which I wasn't trying to be, I just thought it was informative.
My name is Parenty Lau. I work at Mills, and occasionally, Innis and Thode. Come visit Mills either Monday 12-2, Wednesday 4:30-8, or Thursday 12-2 and ask for me. I'll gladly show you the policy.
