can textbooks be filed for tax return?
I'm looking at the T2202A form on mugsi and I only see a tax return for my tuition ..

Sorry of asking. Anyone know if you need proof of the price of the textbooks and whether if you include textbooks that are not bought at the title bookstore?

usually u need a receipt. buying a used book from others wont count since it's cash hand to hand trade

Actually, if you look at the tax return form that you can download from mugsi, you'll notice that there is a textbook section, so you don't need to save your receipts from titles.

They assume you spent 400 dollars per month on textbooks.

Edit: After all, it's called the "TUITION, EDUCATION, AND TEXTBOOK AMOUNTS CERTIFICATE"
