The course listing says "Registration in Level I" but doesn't mention upper years. Have upper years taken this course ?

It says "registration in level 1" is a prerequisite. Since an upper year student is not registered in level 1, they cannot register for it. If it was open to all students, then nothing would be listed as a prereq.

this is true but I think it's possible to get a waiver if you have a good reason for wanting to take the course and there is space in the class. no harm in asking.
