Rooms for Upper Years
I will be going into 2nd year next year, not sure if I'm doing off campus or res yet though. For upper year students, is it most likely that you will be put into a single, suite, or apartment style res, or is there a big chance that I will be put into a triple or double. I heard that ALL upper year kids get single, suite or apartment but wasn't sure if this was true.

Not completly true. I am in second year, and I live in a double. I know 3 other people who are in upper year and in a double as well.

Just try to apply for residence admission really early and select a double/triple as your top choice.

No its because i don't want a double/triple. I want single/suite/apartment. Whats the chances of getting one of those if your average is high (above 11)

I'm a first year in a suite and I live with two third years , of course you'd choose a suite as your first choice than apartment . I'm in the same position as you are

I was able to get into a Single Room for my 2nd and 4th year. I believe the majority of upper years get single/suite/apartment rooms, unless you request to be in a double/triple.

If I remember correctly, its a lottery system and room preference doesn't depend on your average.
