when can first year social science students see their timetables

August 8th timetables are released for all students

SOLAR closes Aug 2nd I believe and you can see your timetable on August 8th. On August 10th, that's when you can go in and change core/lab/tutorial sections.

What exactly does it mean by fees cleared by August 9th?

As in you confirmed your payment agreement at least once before then. You can change your payment option later.
