Canada Post Strike
So basically they are not mailing any mail... WTF


My package is in transit and it's now in a hostage position between the unions and Canada post

The package is worth like 700 bucks WTF what if they steal it ;,(

Aren't they still operating? Just not everyone goes on strike at once. It'll depends on where the package is and if that city has a postal strike or not. I don't see why they would steal it...

They haven't stopped working completely, the strikes are rotational from one city to another, so depending on your city, it'll just take a little longer for it to arrive.

Technically its not the strikes that stopped completely. Canada Post locked out all the workers so that no one can work in an effort to move along negotiations etc.

Sucks for everyone who needs to mail uni stuff ><

I don't think UPS is working less but I think they are charging more. I might be wrong, but today I was trying to buy something on eBay from New York, and they were charging me 50 dollars (plus tax after that) just for shipping within a week, so I was like **** that.

Does anyone here know if the strike affects McMaster transcript request system? Would transcripts not be mailed out my mcmaster anymore?
