Canadian Securities Course
Has anyone taken the CSC? And is it valuable in finding a job? I just graduated with an Econ degree and I just wanna know if it is worth taking. I wanna get a job at a bank and eventually do my MBA later on.

the csc is based on passing two tests. i wrote the first one last week and passed. the csc is valuable because it is the pre requisite in order to be licensed to trade securities. its also the first step to designations such as the cfp. the cfa is also highly valuable if you want a banking job. i just graduated the bcom program at degroote and will be starting the co op mba in september, looking to get into investment banking

No prior work experience in a business setting. Its the co op mba with a 94% hiring rate sl thayd where i plan on gaining some experience. Non co op programs require work experience. And investment banking coming out of any reputableba program usually depends on your network and connections. As well The more designations you attain the greater your oppurtunity to secure interviews.
