Cellphone Help Needed
I got my Fido SIM card today. I used to have a Rogers SIM card. Don't worry, my phone is unlocked. So I switched to Fido today but when I turned on my phone, the time/date got reset. The call history was also deleted.

So what exactly is on your SIM card and what else is different from my phone now? When you change your SIM card, what else changes?

Thanks~!

Only thing that should really change is your provider/service... maybe phones are smart enough now to even recognize the sim card and adjust to the current timezone

Aren't some contacts always saved on your SIM card?

You can usually set what you store on your phone or the SIM. I for one have my contacts stored on BOTH. Call history and your SMS inbox (not sure about sent) can also be on the SIM.

Where do you go to set what goes on your SIM card and what goes on your phone?
