OK..so I'm in my 2nd year n m going for honours of life sci...along with this I also wanted to get a minor in business...for which I need to take some commerce courses...but the SOLAR is not letting me do that...

What should I do??? I really need some help on this..

PLUS...this time SOLAR hasnt given me any options to choose the cores or tutorials of the courses! is it just me or it's usual????

SOLAR is currently closed until August 13th. They are doing sectioning right now.

It's not abnormal that you can't select cores or tutorials. Don't worry about it.

You'll be able to switch around cores and tutorials to different timeslots, or drop/add courses if you want on the 13th.

For the commerce courses you may need to satisfy certain prerequisites. If you have done so, contact the department for a waiver.

oh rite...does anybody know who exactly I should be contacting? and as far as prereqs are concerned..i have already done macroecon in my first year and when i talked to the academic counselor about this...she told be that i need to finish all the first year commerce courses and first year econ by second year....or something along that...

IF any of you knows who I should be contacting regarding the commerce courses then please let me know!!

Be very careful with a business minor. I talked to an academic advisor last year about trying to attempt one and she told me not to bother as I'd have problems getting into classes I'd need for the minor, as there is usually a pretty stringent limit on the number of non-commerce students they let into classes.
