Background info:
In 2014, Canada's current Health Accord is set to expire, creating a window of opportunity to urge all governments to take further action. Beginning in 2010, the Canadian Medical Association launched cross-country public town hall consultations, facilitating a pan-Canadian dialogue to guide health care transformation. Building on the momentum of this dialogue, the Canadian Federation of Medical Students is hosting town hall consultations across the country to ensure that the voice of Canada's medical students and future physicians is heard. The McMaster CFMS Committee would like to invite all students who are interested in helping to shape the future of Canadian Healthcare to come out and share your views.
