I have a top six average of 85.3% and have a friend from my school who has been accepted with an 85.6% in February because he had his final marks (13th grade). I heard that the average dropped from the unusual high 87 last year and the guy at the life sci presentation told me the average for fall 2011 is 83-86% so what do you guys think?

Also does mac do that "differentiating between high school" in their admission decisions, because I heard that many universities do, but don't admit it publicly.

well if he told you its 83-86, then your chances of getting accepted are high...

no, mac does not do the differentiating between high schools...and even if they did why would you expect that we would know - if you yourself say they don't admit it publicly

anyways, just work hard and wait...there's nothing else you can really do...
