Change first choice for 2nd year specialization
Hey,

I tried looking for similar threads, but did not find what I was looking for.

Anyways, for the level 2 choices I was wondering if it's still possible to change your choice preference?

A day after I wrote one of my exams, I changed the preference of one of my choices, but now I would like to change back.

Would I need to speak with an advisor and is this possible?

Please let me know.

I spoke with the woman at the front desk of the associate dean of science's office yesterday and she said that they don't start reviewing marks etc. for second year programs until May 9th so you can call or go in and change the programs you have selected until then. Not sure if it's the same for other faculties though. Also the order doesn't matter so if it's just an issue that you changed the order of your preferences, you will still be accepted if you meet the requirements regardless of whether it was your first or fourth choice. Either way it should be fine if you need to change something as long as you call/go in sooner rather than later. Hope that helps!

It could be different for Med Rad but for Life/Phys/Earth Sci, I don't think the order of preference mattered when applying to 2nd year programs.

I could be wrong too, it's been a few years..

You can definitely change them even after you get accepted into whatever program you applied to.
As long as you meet the requirements there's really not an issue.
